What is going on with Snow Summit Theme?

I have used the snow summit theme for a client’s website, and everyone really likes it. I would like to update wordpress, but am afraid to, since your theme has not been updated for over two years. I installed a plugin called theme-check that says things should be ok if I update, but I wanted to find out if you plan on keeping the theme current? I would be willing to pay a fee if necessary.

If you are not planning on keeping the theme current, could you please let us know? and if there is a theme that is similar, it would be good to know that too. I am going to hold off as long as I can on installing a new theme, because that will take some time to reassign everything, and it is time that I feel I cannot bill for. Would you please advise on this?
