What is going on with bbpress forum?

I try to post thee several times and never could. I thought that have to approve posts or something but that is not true. I posted several topics in the past and if I log in I see nothing under posted

what is going on with that forum?
I have it installed on my site and it gives me trouble but I cant ask nobody?

Is this site using bbpress too?

It certainly seems strange that you can’t see your own posts, especially if you’re posting support issues over at https://bbpress.org/forums/

Is that where you are logging in and trying to ask your support questions? Or are you seeing something different? Are you logging in with the same user name and password you use when logging in here?

If that’s the right place, what can you see when you search your own posts when you are NOT logged in over there? Anything at all?

Try going right from being logged in here – without logging out – to https://bbpress.org/forums/ and see if you are logged in there as well.

akismet does now allow my post go live, and all are marked as spam, I never spammed your forum in any way so that is very strange, I would suggest disabling akismet for forum posts

ok, now it is working after the mod of bbpress JJJ on irc unmarked my posts as spam

also i imported my old phpbb3 forum and I get the same username as I use as admin on my site.

Now I have two accounts with same username, very strange
can I delete old account and the forum posts will be assigned to the current default user?

I did not see this, so I thought the problem with akismet is resolved

Ha! That will do it for sure.. Don’t feel bad, it doesn’t necessarily mean you were spamming, it just happens sometimes. There’s no shame in Akismet marking you as spam in error – it just means it’s being super careful about doing it’s job.

Better a few false flags than lots of actual bad guys going unchecked.

Glad they got you going again!

[edit] – yep’ it happens here, too sometimes! Usually Nothing to worry about though.
