I have tried your AIOSEO website for documentation regarding the FM Mail Verification, but could not find anything about it and what it does.

    Here are my questions:

? What is “FM Mail Verification”?
    ? What does it do?
? What does it have to do with Search Appearances?

    Thanks.

PS: you need to create documentation for this, because it does have a separate section for settings, and as you see, not everyone knows what this is and Google search does not help either.

    Hey @lospeso,

I’m afraid that doesn’t ring a bell. We don’t have anything in our plugin that is called “FM Mail Verification”.

Can you take a screenshot of what exactly you’re seeing?

    Thanks for a quick reply.

I apologize for not seeing this.

When I saw this in the AIOSEO settings (All In One SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types [tab] ), I automatically took this as an AIOSEO setting and not a separate plugin generated setting, especially when the acronym “FM” wasn’t clarified in AIOSEO as setting for a plugin.

FM Mail Verification refers to a plugin called “Form Maker”.

When that plugin is deactivated, the AIOSEO settings for it disappear.

    Here is a screenshot:

I did not expect that plugin to generate this FM Mail Verification setting in AIOSEO, so that is also why I assumed this was designed by AIOSEO.

Maybe modify AIOSEO to at least show a label that a setting refers specifically to another plugin?

    Thanks.

    Hey @lospeso,

We generate such a box of settings for every public post type on your site. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing where those custom post types are being registered. You can hover over the icon in the top left corner of the card to see a little bit more information about the slug and name of the post type.

In this particular case, I’m guessing that this post type isn’t really supposed to be public (is it visible on the frontend of your site?) and that Form Maker shouldn’t have made it public in the first place.

Let me know if that makes sense.

    Thanks for the reply

Hovering over the “?” icon repeats the same label name of the box.
Based on you are saying, I am supposing the label name would likely come from the plugin itself using the acronym instead of the full name. – no matter, it is not crucial.

No, this post type only shows in the back-end, in the AIOSEO settings as listed above. I have not used this plugin yet, but plan to in the future, so any forms from the plugin are not at the front-end yet.
