What is Falcon?

Hi,

Is there somewhere I can learn more about what Falcon does and if it is an option I can enable/disable? I can’t seem to find documentation where it is explained exactly what its doing, or what its going to be doing to htaccess. What will it be writing to it or changing in it?

Also, is this new update compatible with the new Wordpess version that just rolled out? (3.9) ?
