    Setting a product’s visibility to “Hidden” in WooCommerce ensures that it does not appear on:

    • Shop pages
    • Category pages
    • Search results

    However, the product can still be accessed directly via its URL, allowing customers with the link to view and purchase it. In some cases, it may still appear in search results if the search query doesn’t specifically filter for products (e.g., missing post_type=products).

    This option is useful when you want a product to be available but not publicly listed, such as for private sales, exclusive offers, or testing purposes.

    I found the problem. The site search does not honor the setting. If people search for products, it works, but when they use the site search, it included everything. I’m going to stop using HIDDEN and just remove the products completely.
