I’m just starting out and when I look at the “Exclude/Include from backup”, the wp-content file is unchecked. Does this mean that all my content is not being backed up? Are there other things not backed up by default?

    Hey Daniel,

It looks like you are confused with the selection pattern.
    Check the screenshot here: https://nimb.ws/6IScOC

If it is ticked, it means the entire folder will be backed up
If it is a dot, it means the folder is partially selected. Certain folder / files inside could be excluded.
If it unchecked with a red stripe, it means the entire folder is excluded

Can you tell us if your wp-content folder is unchecked or partially selected?

The wp-content has a dot and the media folder is unchecked with a red stripe. Does this mean all my media is not backed up. I’m just concerned that if I ever have to restore the site, that parts of it will not be restored.

Only the default WordPress files and folders will be backed up. The media folder will not be backed up unless you select it.
If you want to take a backup of that, just check the box and hit save button, going forward the media folder will be backed up and you can restore it anytime you want to ??

Hello guys, a “Select all” button would be greatly appreciated. Would save some time and assure everything is backed up. Because sometimes you need a full backup, and you mean it.

    Thanks!

    Hey Marcelo,

Point noted, forwarding it to the dev team. Thanks for chiming in with your feedback ??
