The settings tab has an option to delete “out of date backups”. What is an out of date backup? What criteria make a backup out of date, or does this button just delete all existing backups, local and remote?

    Hi @llaves

The out-of-date backups refer to these oldest backups when the backup retention you set is reached.

Clicking the Delete button will only delete the oldest backups.

I’m still confused. I set the retention limit to 3. Once reached, it appears the oldest one is deleted when a new one is written. Is there max retention time period in the settings that I’ve missed?

    Thanks

If you have not created the 4rd backup, you can use the delete option to delete the old backups. That’s where the option comes from.
