• I’ve seen this once in a while in the past, but over the past 48 hours – I’ve had scores of referrers from various sources with these key words (subject line) leading to blank pages on my end. I did some googling and found a lot of suggestions about virus, but this doesn’t seem to be on my actual computer. I also found a ton of coding suggestions that I didn’t begin to understand.

I am using Google Ads and Gay Ad Networks. I think this has something to do with ads, right? I removed the only active Google ad widget to see if that would help.

    I’m a little stymied.

    Thanks for any feedback

AdNexus (ADNXS) is an ad server. Are you sure that isn’t coming from one of your ad networks?

Maybe disable all of your ads for one night (actually deactivate the plugins and remove the placements) to see if that makes any difference?

I removed the one Google ad widget and traffic immediately dropped. I am fiddling with the other ad network now. What I don’t understand is how I prevent this from happening. I would like to keep using the ads if possible.

If the problem was the Google Ad widget, you’ll need to get in touch with the developer of that plugin or contact AdSense support.

AdNexus isn’t part of AdSense though (they have their own ad network), so I suspect the plugin developer is actually periodically injecting their own ads.
