What Improvements??
-
OK, so in this WP Customer Reviews support thread you announced that Rich Reviews is an improvement over WP Customer Reviews.
Gotta say it’s rather disappointing.
~~ No option for adding custom fields to the submit review form, such as location.
~~ A review title is required, not optional
~~ As others have pointed out, no option to review a product.
~~ When you look at Approved Reviews, nothing indicates that a review has already been approved. Instead, the radio buttons for approve, pending and delete are still there which is confusing. If you approve it again, the review is duplicated. Why should “approve” even be an option for an already approved review?
~~ The Submit Review form isn’t integrated into the reviews display page. WP Customer Reviews integrates that quite seamlessly.Sorry, but I just don’t see how Rich Reviews, in its current state, is any improvement.
I trust you’ll keep working on it, and if you do, you might include:
~~ an option for reviewers to include an image.
~~ a way for developers to input reviews from the admin side; this is useful when transitioning a static site to WordPress and the customer wants to keep previous reviews.
~~ display reviews full width, not in little blocks, and by all means make things responsive.Cheers!
