What if the site blows up?

    I am going to have to change my primary domain. Using these direction it says to:

    1. Upload the updated wp-config.php file via FTP if you haven’t done so already.
    2. Dump/drop all tables in your database.
    3. Restore your database by importing the edited SQL file

    What does number #2 step mean?
    Also, what if when I implement these steps and the site does not work anymore? Can I upload the old files and bring my old multisite back to life?
    I’m scared!
