What if I remove the theme name on the footer ?

  • Hi wordpress scientists! First let me introduce me , I am an 18 year old student who knows computer and web programming [C#,HTML,CSS & PHP in learning] . Recently I was thinking about creating a magazine/news forum so I can share interesting news and articles on my own website . While starting to blogging , first thing in my mind was to use blogspot but when compared wordpress with blogspot , I found that wordpress is much better .

    Ahh sorry for the long introduction , lets goto the questions .

    I found a premium theme for wordpress on themeforest . If I remove the theme name , would there be any issues ?

    If there is an issue , what is it ? If there is any way to bypass it ,how ?
