Hi, i am currently setting up YOAST at our new production website and i really like the plugin. It has many useful options, works great and has a structured interface. It is really a big help for a webshop builder. Still i am missing some fixes/features:

    – We use the Flatsome theme, which is according to the statistics the most installed WooCommerce theme. Still YOAST has some problems with pages built with the UX builder. Such pages do not have a proper description in the snippet preview, instead it displays css and shortcodes. I think it should include some kind of css and shortcode filter to remove unhuman code from the description.

    – Many pages, and ours as well, use the short product short description for the most important information and the product description for datasheets and stuff. But Yoast only seems to analyze the description, not the short description of the product. This leads to wrong hints and readability analysis. I think if not automatically, the user should be able to select which of these two descriptions (or both) to analyze.

That’s actually all, a big thanks to the YOAST team for the great plugin !

    Daniil

Thanks for suggesting a new feature for our plugin! We’re actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new feature request for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new. You can create a new issue to submit your feature request. You will need an account to create one.

Don’t forget to include the URL to this conversation in your feature request!
