@neoinmatrix How are you trying to make those files writeable?

You can follow this link for Permission issues:

    Tks for ur reply.

I want to make the Appearance writable, now i set wp-content/themes to 777 with FileZilla. Then 500 ‘SITE’: command not understood. I even dont know what that mean.

Btw, this is goddady windows hosting.

    also thank you very much!

No need to give 777, you need to give 755 to folder for example simply click on folder -> file permission and set 755 and for files like post.php -> 644

just now click on folder -> file permission and set 755 but still “500 ‘SITE’: command not understood”

and try 644, the same situation.

The server you are connected to simply doesn’t support the CHMOD command. That means you cannot change permissions over FTP. If the hosting is Windows this is to be expected as CHMOD is *NIX-only. For Windows hosting you can skip these instructions.

If your hosting is *NIX then you must either set permissions using a different channel (web panel?) or contact server support and have them changed.

May be @jan Dembowski help you more
