What happens when trackbacks get pinged?

  • Hi again guys,

    I entered a couple of URL’s for trackbacking and it said they were pinged.

    What does it mean when the URL’s you trackback to get pinged? Is this a good or bad thing?

  • A ping is just a way of notifying the site at the trackback url that you have used a link to that page/site.
