  • I’m in the same situation as the OP. We installed this initially to fix some specific URLs. Now we don’t use it anymore, but I’m wondering if the corrected URLs will stay corrected and if there’s any side-effect when uninstalling it.

Same here. Interested to know what happens if plugin is uninstalled.

Hi guys, Thank for asking for the support and sorry for the late response

If you uninstalled this plugin then you won’t able to use the corrected permalinks.

The corrected permalinks work through this plugin If you uninstalled it then you may not able to use those permalinks.

    Thanks,
    Sami

Also, all the slugs you’ve edited since installing, even if they are valid slugs, will revert to the wordpress default slug prior to any edits. Because this plugin doesn’t work with the native slug editing functions. So you will lose years’ worth of edited slugs. Sami please develop the plugin so it stays passive during simple slug changes that wordpress is capable of managing natively!

    Hi,

We’re in the same situation, our permalinks are messed up now. Without the plugin, the slug always has a “-2” at the end, as if it were a copy, but the original can’t be found anywhere. Until you can solve this problem, we will have to keep the plugin activated.

    1) Could you please fix this?
    2) Whilst trying to fix the problem ourselves, we reverted one of the custom permalinks, which didn’t solve the problem. We would now like to undo this i.e. reinstate the customization, but it no longer appears to be possible. Could you please fix this as well so that we at least have a temporary solution while the plugin is still activated?

    Thanks,
    Victoria
