I made an automation for New Order and it seemed to override the WooCommerce New Order email. Should I disable the WooCommerce email anyway? How does the store know which email to send out, the Woo email or your automation?

Also, though your email came out perfectly there was a {site_title} at the bottom that wasn’t filled in. Seems like it’s from the Woo template. I can’t find where it comes from, though, so I can’t remove it.

    Hi @kirascurro

ShopMagic is not overriding standard WooCommerce emails. If you install our plugin and create an automation, your customer will receive both – WooCommerce and ShopMagic emails.

In this case, you should consider disabling standard WooCommerce emails. Check this article (step 2) to find out how to do it: https://shopmagic.app/blog/customize-woocommerce-completed-order-email/

You can edit {site_title} by moving to WooCommerce > Settings > Emails and scroll down a little, to adjust it to your preferences.

Additional tip: In the same place you can also set a header image, which is also supported by ShopMagic.

thank you for that information. i seem to have this page bookmarked, which i used to set up my first automation, and it’s slightly different from the one you linked. the important part is it leaves off the disabling of Woo emails.

i disabled the WooCommerce emails, but i still have {site_title} in the footer of your automation. do you have any other suggestions on how i might get rid of it?

    Hi @kirascurro

Deleting all of the data in the footer text should help you. Check this screenshot – Test for KiraScurro

I encourage you to check our blog, with emphasis on guide category. You will find lots of useful information there (e.g. how to set up automation for every order status or a troubleshooting guide).

As I wrote earlier, when you will be in the Emails Tab scroll down a little – do not edit a specified email. You should change global settings. Check this screenshot, which should help you a little more – WooCommerce footer text
