What happens to new cookies when ‘Automatic ‘ mode is enabled

    Hi Cookiebot team,

    What happens to new cookies when the ‘Automatic’ mode is enabled in WordPress? Are all new cookies blocked by default? And what happens to new uncategorised cookies? Are they blocked by default or are they still loaded because they are uncategorised?

    Hi Rob,

    New cookies will be identified after a scan, until then they wouldn’t be blocked.
    Furthermore, if the new cookies aren’t in our repository, they’ll be unclassified, and will also be set.

    I suggest manually starting a scan in the manager after adding a new script and categorizing the new cookie (if needed) after the scan finishes.
