    You would just need to make sure the images existed on the server, so yes copy them back. No update to urls need.

    Thank you. IN follow up to that. I thought the idea was to use S3 instead of server resources. In that case, when I upload an image to the image library, isn’t the image being store on S3? If so, no copy is on the host server? and if that is the case, how do the URLS get resolved in existing posts/pages were I to disable the plugin?

    By default, it copies the file to S3. It doesn’t upload directly to S3.
