What happens when the plug-in is uninstalled? I mean, will all the alt attributes added so far by the plugin disappear from my site?
We know how this affects SEO.
    Someone checked this already?
    Thanks in advance
    Best regards,
    Andrzej

  • Excellent question. I was thinking of the same thing randomly today as I was working on my websites.

I really hope the author can at least leave an option for us to choose if we want to keep the “alt” data or wipe it out also when we are installing/uninstalling like some of the other plugins out there.

    Hi,

Thank you for contacting our support.

About your question, if you choose to disable or uninstall Bialty plugin, as Alt text are added (and managed) “on-the”go” by this plugin (from post title, Yoast keyword, image name, site name, …), you will loose them instantly.

The best would be to keep it enable on your website as it works continuously with any new page/post.

    Hope it helps.

    Regards

PS: it’s the way it works with most plugins (Yoast, Visual composer, Rank math, …)

Hello, thanks for the reply but I think you should reconsider having the plugin remove everything.

It might be better to at least have an option to export settings/data.

If something happens to your plugin, lets say if you decide not to update it for longtime, it could harm webmasters who use it because the impact of your product is tied to SEO, if we are forced to remove your plugin, it means we could damage the SEO of our web sites/clients instantly.
