What happened to WassUp Analytics?

The plugin is still unavailable through the WordPress Plugin Directory. I went ahead and contacted the plugin developers. I am waiting on their reply.

Hello, we are sorry but the plugin had a security bug, so we are working to renew the code to fix the bug and modernize it.

We hope to re-submit the plugin in few weeks.

Has anyone encountered a similar error since updating?

Fatal error: Call to a member function is_recording_active() on a non-object in /home/content/66/8534766/html/techsource/wp-content/plugins/wassup/wassup.php on line 512

The developers are saying to delete the plugin and they are working on a solution.

Same message. Can’t open my website admin or dashboard. Went to host and deleted wassup from my cpanel, but it still won’t open. Someone needs to fix this or tell me how to get into my admin/dashboard some other way.
