    Hey,
why did you remove support for the piwik.pro service?
after an upgrade this week my sites tracking silently stopped working..!

is it to push your own service?
is there an workaround to link the plugin to my piwik.pro account?

    tnx, Eric

It shouldn’t happen that your tracking silently stopped working. The update script makes sure to re-configure existing Pro setups (see changelog) so they continue working. Additionally, WP-Piwik shows a box after updating to inform you that settings change and you should have a look at them.

Both did not happen? If so, please give some more details on your setup and your update process. It tested the scenario several times, but maybe you have a specific setup I did not take care of. I also re-checked the code just now but can’t see a reason why this did not work.

Anyway, you can continue using Piwik.pro as you can use every service offering Piwik: Just configure the HTTP connection. The Pro-Option was a simple shortcut to do so.

WP-Piwik is a personal, non-commercial project. WP-Piwik only supports the team behind Piwik and no further commercial projects. The InnoCraft Cloud is the new Piwik cloud platform provided by the Piwik team itself and so it replaces its predecessor Piwik.pro.

yes, the information box was shown, but the upgrade didn′t work on my sites, first i thought it′s because of my multisite environment, but i just tried it on a single install and ran into the same issues: after the upgrade the config changes to deactivated and the piwik.pro option is not available in the dropdown any more.

my setup is default hosted on wpengine, standard update process, nothing special.

anyway, seems to work with manual config via https connection.

    tnx, Eric
