What happened to REM

  • In TwentyTwelve, the REM unit was adopted. But I realized in TwentyThirteen, REM is no longer used. I’m interested to know the reasons behind it because I’m wondering whether I should continue using REM. Thanks!

  • This is a good question. Rems, especially rems with 9 decimal places, are by far the most complex way to size fonts (and other stuff). I’m trying to understand what the point is.
