• Wordfence is saying this plugin has been removed from www.remarpro.com.

Can the developers say why? Will it be restored soon?

  • Should we still use this plugin?

We are working on restoring the plugin in the WordPress plugin directory. We’ve reached out to WordPress and are in the process of coming to a resolution.

I wish WP would give more info when this happens, so plugin users can make an informed decision. Till that day comes, all we have is the statement on the front page Details tab :

This plugin has been closed as of January 11, 2022 and is not available for download. This closure is temporary, pending a full review.

@sharethis Your website (https://sharethis.com/) has been messed up for days as well. What’s going on?

@fssbob What do you mean by “messed up” ? We haven’t received any notifications of the site failing or being malformed. I just went through the site and couldn’t replicate any bad behavior.

Can anyone else replicate what @fssbob <— is talking about?

After reading your response, I checked, and the problem appears to only be on Chrome on one of my two Macs. (It’s the one with an M1 chip, just in case that makes any difference.) It’s fine on Firefox and Safari, and on Chrome on my other Mac. But it’s weird: I’ve cleared the cache and all cookies and data associated with the site, and it hasn’t made any difference. I also notice there are a large number of javascript errors. The content looks like the style sheet is missing. And while it’s clearly ShareThis-related, it doesn’t appear to be the content on the current website.

Hopefully it’s just a local problem I haven’t been able to figure out yet.

    Thanks for the quick response.

So is there any update to this? @sharethis

Looks like it’s back – we need to accept privacy T&Cs to keep using.

    Hello!
We are glad to inform you all that the Social Media Feather plugin has been back online on WordPress for some weeks now!
