What does this mean!! Fatal error:

  • After installing 3.0.4 I now get this Fatal error when trying to view our site – https://www.thebabycakery.co.uk –

    Fatal error: Call to a member function add_rewrite_tag() on a non-object in /home/newbaby1/public_html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 289

    Should I try a manual update to solve this problem?

    you may try:

    -Download WordPress again and replace your copies of everything EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies. This should replace your core files without changing your content and settings in wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory.
