What does GP Integration plugin do?

    I have installed Glotpress plugin
    then found GP integration plugin made by you in the wordpress plugin repository

    Is this GP Integration optional or required to run glotpress on wordpress site and what does it do?

    It says :
    GP Integration adds the missing features you need to run GlotPress effectively:
    Manage admin users
    Add and delete and reset passwords for users in the local GlotPress user table
    Delete projects and translation sets
    View your GlotPress site right in the WordPress Admin interface
    Shortcode to embed your GlotPress installation right in to your WordPress front end
    Support for both integrated (your using the WordPress database) and standalone (your using another database on the same server)

    I thought glotpress plugin has this features already.

    Before GlotPress was a plugin it was a standalone application, GP Integration was a WordPress plugin to bring some of the features of GlotPress in to WordPress.

    It doesn’t need to be used with the plugin version of GlotPress.
