Thanks for the plugin. I am using it it for the first time, and treading cautiously. For now, I am only using it to scan, and making my own decisions on what to delete. I have a question about the scan results. For some files (so far, it seems like only the files where the issue is “Seems not in use”), the path has “(+ 3 files)” appended to it. The number of files varies from file to file. What does this mean?

Other files found during the scan had the issue of “File not found.” I gather these were old/unused database entries that pointed to files which were no longer found. The paths listed for these files did not have “(+ <X> files)” at the end, and were relatively straightforward to delete.

    Thanks.

So your file seems not in use. But actually a file is usually not alone. Most of those files in your Media Library are images. Images, in WP, also has thumbnails, large, retina alternatives, etc. Those files are counted and that is why there is this “+ x files” ??

The paths listed for these files did not have “(+ <X> files)” at the end, and were relatively straightforward to delete.

    That’s good, it’s good simple cleaning! ??

Don’t hesitate to post a little review if you are happy with the plugin, it helps me a lot always ??
