What does "Cancel this user's subscription at the gateway" mean?

    That message means, go into the payments processor (the gateway – i.e., Stripe, PayPal, etc.) and cancel the member’s payments there. It’s trying to tell you that the cancellation failed in the third party system and if you don’t cancel the subscription there, then the user will continue to be billed.
