What do I name my subsite?

    Hi,
    I think my question is very simple, but I can’t find it in the codex or the forums. I have just started a multi-site and I’m trying to create a subsite. The top entry is named Site Name. I have tried every path I can think of to precede my site name, but I keep getting the error: Missing or invalid site address. What is the proper format for this? And do I need to create a folder for this?
