The EWWW Basic Configuration document indicates:

JPG Optimization Level … Maximum Lossy Compression – Uses TinyJPG and requires an API key, give it a try at tinypng.com

    and…

PNG Optimization Level … Maximum Lossy Compression – Uses TinyPNG, requires an API key, and you can try it out at tinypng.com

So I obtained an API Key from the perky Panda at TinyPNG. ;o)

But what do I do with it now?

    TIA,

    Mark

Apparently there were typos in the document, which have since been corrected. One does not need the TinyPNG API key.

Here is the updated verbiage in the EWWW Basic Configuration document:

JPG Optimization Level … Maximum Lossy Compression – Saves an average of 50% with minimal quality loss, requires an EWWW IO API key.

PNG Optimization Level … Maximum Lossy Compression – Compresses PNG images even better than Pngquant with minimal quality loss, requires an EWWW IO API key.
