• Hello.

I recently put WordFence on my site after some hacks that injected some malicious code that hijacked my site and redirected visitors to other awful sites. I set WordFence to email me of login attempts.

    Everyday now, I’m getting these:
1 failed login attempts (1 lockout(s)) from… [various IPs]. Some are Eastern Europe, some are Britain, some are U.S.A. The last user that’s listed as attempting is my account user name. I know it wasn’t me.

The final line of the report says: “IP was blocked for 0 hours.”

The bogus attempts have thankfully failed to login all week. Should I be concerned? I’ve never had a report or a security plugin on the site before, and it cost me. Maybe this goes on ALL the time, but I was just unaware?

Any feedback/insight would be appreciated! Thank you!
