    Unable to locate WordPress Content directory (wp-content).

    the above was copied from my dashboard in wordpress

    That is the message I get when downloading is finished. So I presume Newbie big time that I have made a mistake in the setting up or installation of this blog.

    Also when I use my url to go to the page https://odigosphotography.iblogger.org

    this is the message I copied straight from browser

    Index of /

    blog/

    then I have to click the link blog/ to go to my site.

    Help please this is making me a old lady.

  • That is because you do not have a index file in your subdomain name folder copy index.php file in the folder from blog folder and open the index.php file you copied in editor and change line 17 so it will be

    require(‘./blog/wp-blog-header.php’);

    and save the file

    Tks I new it was a small problem I am embarressed to state I do not have a clue as to what you are talking about

    Index file opened it up in my azila and the index has only a few lines

    Ok let me understand you

    you want me to open on on my desktop or in azila or in cpanel.

    can you direct me in words to where I have to be not very clued up with the jargon used with computers. I just do and can follow.

    do not laugh I have been stumbling for days now but it seems I get better…

    and u have gotta believe that lol.

    Hi I really hope you will help me further, I just need to get this up and going. Sorry to be a pain, but when you know a little it is so frustrating to be so close yet so far.

    I am too scared if I tough something I might crash my site. This is about the 8th site I am trying to get up. U guessed right the rest failed.

    I am sorry I just can back and did not answer earlier.
    I need to know where exactly you have installed wordpress as the url is a subdomain name. Is this the folder odigosphotography in your public_html and in that you have blog folder or something else

    SORRY but was getting desperate thought you had left and was not going to answer. Thank yu so much for answering me again

    I used vistapanel my ftp is https://ftp.byethost8.com I will send you a message on facebook and give yo all the other info. If you do not mind it is also alot easier to work from skype that is if you do not mind looking at my info.

    I have got your wordpress working

    As you have your wordpress in blog folder to get on admin panel you use
