What Changes Trigger a Cache Purge?

    Hi,

    I’m not entirely clear on what actions trigger a purge of the cache. For example, if I change a Custom Post Type, is that supposed to purge the cache? I also use a plugin that adds a bar to the top of pages, and it seems like changes to the bar don’t clear the cache.

    Hi,
    Yes, changes to custom post type content would clear the cache automatically. But content changes made in any plugin won’t clear the cache automatically. In that case, you need to clear cache manually.
