What causes a plugin to break in MultiSite

  • Are there any ‘general’ reasons as to why a plugin that functions wonderfully on a single site won’t work on a MultiSite?

    I know there could be hundreds of reasons, but are there any check X, Y, and Z first type solutions that typically work?

    Mostly it’s ‘does it hard code paths/db info instead of using dynamic checks?’ Other than that, I haven’t really had problems.
