• Hey guys

Am running a dedicated server which I have the capability to install and uninstall any application I wanted to.

    Going through this plugin general settings, it has options that listed as follows;

    opcode: Alternative PHP Cache (APC)
    opcode: eAccelerator
    opcode: XCache
    opcode: WinCache

Which of the above is best for maximum performance recommended by this plugin?

    Am running php 5.6.17
    Apache 2.4.6
    Linux
    centOS 7

I would talk to your web host about that, it all depends on the amount of resources, your target audience, server config, etc.

Bozz, thanks for your response. I thought my question is off track

On that case, I have a limited resources, 2gb of ram, 2 core cpu and 1gb of monthly bandwith, for the startup. But I will upgrade it as the site grows.
Am having a targeted audience of hundreds of thousands daily visit.
The site is a learning system with buddypress social network. In this case, I cannot tell what the page view would be, for that will be determine on how learners interact with each other and the instructors.

Just as I have said earlier, am on vps.
I need the maximum result for maximum performance, that will enhance the interaction.

For Page Cache, go with Disk:Enhanced.
    Minify: Disk

    Others: XCache

    My opinion

    Page Cache – Disk:Enhanced
    Minify: Disk
    Database Cache: APC or Memcached
    Object Cache: APC or Memcached

    Anybody else ?
