• While I understand moving forward with technology, by forcing this into WP, you are going to break a huge amount of WordPress sites, many of which were one time builds for smaller companies with smaller budgets that paid an agency to build it in the first place. They will now be forced to hire another agency to fix or rebuild, or at minimum turn it off with a plugin. In my opinion, this should be an option, not a requirement. I am not complaining about all the work that is about to come our way as WP developers, but I really feel for all the companies that are going to be screwed when this rolls out. I think you will lose a large share of the market to other platforms.

  • Thank you for posting your opinion. You mentioned things are going to break, and testing now is a measure to help to prevent some of that by working together if we can. Have you tried testing, or would you be willing to test, and let us know about things that are breaking?
