Hi Dion – fantastic work on this plugin, it’s just what I needed! Thank you for your hard work.

I’m redeveloping a site at the moment, using bridgeDD, using a copy of the forum and a new WP site. They’re bridged very happily ??

When the site is ready to go live (very soon), I’ll need to copy the current live forum’s DB over the development forum’s DB. The dev forum has bridgeDD, the live one does not.

So, I wonder if you can please tell me what the changes are that bridgeDD makes to the phpBB database, so I can re-apply them all after copying the database over?

I can see the obvious bits – the two bridgeDD tables: bridgedd_xpost (currently empty) and bridgedd_xuser (contains just my user ids for WP/phpBb which will stay the same).

Also I see config entries for:
    wp_abspath
    wp_db
    wp_bridge

but is there anything else that I’ll need to copy in the DB?

    many thanks again,
    Moogie

BridgeDD does not alter any tables in the WordPress or phpBB databases, and it only adds the two tables you mentioned.

(First tinme online here in a couple weeks….yow, this place is now damn near unreadable! No wonder I get so many clients that want to convert from bbpress to a real discussion board!)
