I think there is something wrong with cron (whatever that is) in my wordpress site. Using Advanced Cron Manager, I discovered that there are a great many cron things listed as “single” schedule.

These are two with multiple listing:
wordfence_start_scheduled_scan single 1416509776 – with this many arguments. There are several more with about the same number of arguments with the same wordfence string.
zem_rp_cron_extract_images_from_post single 3257 – with this many arguments. There are hundreds of lines like this one showing in Advanced Cron Manager.
Is there a way to delete them? Do I need to.
    What is an argument?
When I click on remove – it doesn’t remove them.
    HELP!

I have deactivated the Zemora plugin that was creating the zem_rp_ … string.

    Hi,

    It’s normal for these plugins.

Removing third party cron tasks doesn’t work quite well but I’m working on it.

    Thanks Kuba.

Is there a way to do it manually some other way that you are aware of? I’ve looked all over the place and can’t find anything useful so far.

    Thanks.

I’m sure there’s a reason why there are so many cron jobs added.
You should contact the plugin’s authors that you’re disturbed with number of cron jobs.

Removing them may couse problems with these plugins.
