What about existing http: links ?

  • Hi,

    We are in a process to move our current http: based WordPress site to a https: based one.
    I have allot of internal links to pages and pictures using http. Will this tool help me to change all this links into https site wide? That is, will it edit all files and put in https wherever it finds http?

    Realise that external links may not work (if the site doesn’t support https) but I will have to handle these manually.

    G’day Terve,

    No, it doesn’t fix any anchor links. I recommend that you use a good search-and-replace tool for that. I’d recommend wp-cli, if you are familiar with operating from the command line / shell.
