What a terrible, bland theme

I may not have always liked WP’s official themes, but have at least found them attractive enough to modify and tweak to fit my needs. I also like that they are continually updated, and I am not left stranded with a broken theme that the developer no longer supports. This new theme, however, is so bland and basic that I uninstalled it within an hour of installing it–I would have to do way too much to make it attractive. The default font is way too large, and reminds me of the typical oversized “websitez for dummiez on smartphones” look that has ruined the usage of sites on desktop computers. With gutenberg being such a trainwreck and the theme of such poor quality, it makes me question staying with WordPress long term. They are pushing all of this on site admins and content creators who never asked for it. If I could give zero stars to it, I would.
