What a nightmare. Two full days and it's still not up

    Over 20 hours and counting, reading and watching videos. I want to import Ning data so I dumped my ‘WordPress hosted’ and switched over to C-Panel. Created a FTP file there for my proposed site.

    I uploaded WP to the ‘www’ directory to WAMP. PHP won’t run – wants a username and password (which I don’t have). Every username/password I try to use is rejected.

    Am clueless on anything further in the FTP at my domain provider.

    Have so many ‘help’ webpages up and have watched so many videos; my head is spinning.

    How much would I have to pay a Developer to get a site up for me????? I’m on Social Security so be gentle………..
