wfWAFStorageFile::lock NewRelic Reporting

    Hi, I’m currently using NewRelic to monitor some of my sites and quite a few times I see in the transaction traces a slow function to wfWAFStorageFile::lock taking more than 30 seconds multiple times.

    Anyone know what this is and what would cause such a lengthy response?

    It sounds like you have some slow requests “more than 30 seconds” causing this issue, if you can get the exact timestamp for this message in New Relic then you should be able to check the access log file around the same time to narrow it down to the request causing this issue. It might be helpful to check the error log file as well.
