    Hello team

The wfhoover table has more than 1 million rows and 280 mb size, I read some similar cases on this forum, the database diagnostic has all green checks about table permissions, is there any way to safe clean the wfhoover table.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @victorcalderon, sorry to hear you’ve had this problem but thanks for contacting us!

The wfHoover table is used during a scan to temporarily store information about the scan to report back afterwards. It should be truncated at every scan.

If it’s stuck, it’s totally safe to empty it, but you might still need to check your database privileges to ensure Wordfence will be able to clean this as intended in future. On the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page under “MySQL Database version and privileges“, you should be able to see whether your database has all the necessary permissions.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

This is the second time I’ve had to truncate it in about a month, it’s about 3 – 4x the rest of the database combined. Permissions on the database are all in green.
