I am a developer with a client who has WF Premium. Even before they had upgraded, and for years now, I would log in to discover that WF is not active. The plugin still looks like it’s there in FTP, and under Plugins as deactivated, but there is this error at the top of the page:
The plugin wordfence/wordfence.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

It happens every few months or so, only with this particular client. I delete WF via FTP and then reinstall and it’s fine, but it would be nice to figure this out so I know when to get in there and fix it. It always happens with no notice even though I have this checked:
Email me if Wordfence is deactivated

    Thoughts? Thanks for your help.

p.s. Where is your list of incompatible plugins, if you please?
