How do I keep Wordfence from blocking ME ON MY OWN SITE? I’m trying to update my meus, but saving takes me to error page that says i should assure it it’s okay, and whitelist the action, then refresh page. When i do, it either doesn’t take me back to my page, or I lose my changes when it does.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @jaebaeli, thanks for getting in touch.

Usually when plugins that allow form submissions or alter features of your site (like a site builder or menu editor in this case), the issue will likely be a false-positive. It’s worth trying Learning Mode first because allowing them on a case by case basis may result in interruptions to saving changes as you describe.

From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform the actions that were causing issues. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/ is an amazing resource for learning more about the WAF and learning mode.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
