I switched from Monsterinsights to Google Site Kit. I deactivated and deleted Monsterinsights.
Installation of Site Kit was ok; search console is working.
When activating Analytics, I get following error:
We’ve detected there’s already an existing Analytics tag on your site (ID UA-162016368-1), but your account doesn’t seem to have access to this Analytics property. You can either remove the existing tag and connect to a different account, or request access to this property from your team.
I try to reuse the existing tag that was previously used by Monsterinsigts.
The Google account used has admin rights.

I found the wrong tracking code.
While inspecting the page sources of several pages, I noticed that the wrong tracking code only appeared on the home page. why I did not find it in the header script?

Any idea what might be wrong?
    please heap me.
    thanks

@pankajsinghbisht thanks for your topic and the details.

    1) Could you provide your site URL and Site Health information? We’ll see if we can spot anything to help troubleshoot.

    2) Additionally, could you attempt to connect Analytics from an incognito browser?

@pankajsinghbisht I’m following up on your topic. Could you provide the information requested above?
