Using WF Central and have implemented and configured cloudflare on my website and ever since, been getting the message:

    Error detected:
We’ve detected CloudFlare blocking our requests to your site. For help on resolving this issue, see our troubleshooting connection issues article here.

Followed the article and created a custom rule to skip IPs 54.68.32.247, 44.235.211.232 & 54.71.203.174 as per guide

Also added WF Central IPs (54.68.32.247, 44.235.211.232 & 54.71.203.174) to the IP Access Rules with “Allow” as per guide

But, 24 hours later, I still cant get WF to connect – I am still getting same error. This guide appears to be either outdated or incorrect. What to do next

    Hi @whitsey,

Thank you for reaching out. Have you tried to clear the previous connection data?

First, head over to https://www.wordfence.com/central and check the Connection Issues tab on the right. If any sites are listed there, go ahead and use the trash can icon on the far right of their entry and remove those.

Then, from the dashboard of the site you’re trying to add, use the?Clear all Wordfence Central connection data?and?Clear Local Connection Data?options at the bottom of the?Other Tests?section in?Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics. After clearing the connection data with those options, you can head back to?https://www.wordfence.com/central?and use the?Add New Site?button in the top right to try to add the site again.

If the site still can’t connect,?can you please send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thanks,
    Margaret
