Weren’t able to add this card

    I have recently upgraded to Woocommerce paypal payments and have the Paypal checkout as an option on the checkout page of the site. Initially, when i have tried to connect to my PayPal account i got the following message: “We weren’t able to approve your application at the moment”. The PayPal checkout option works. The “Debit or Credit Card” button shows the fields to enter details but returns the error “We’re sorry, but we are unable to add this card. Try again later or add a different card”.

    Please advise how to make this work or remove the button for the debit or credit card, I use PayPal payments pro as the gateway so take card payments through that.

    Hello @tbws2021

    sorry to hear about your issues with the card payment; you might want to test this option using the sandbox mode. I would expect this to be a card issue and not related to the plugin. You can create a merchant account and test credit cards on the PayPal developers site: https://developer.paypal.com/developer/accounts/

    However, you can easily turn off the card payment option by going to: WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > PayPal – “Manage” > PayPal Card Processing –> deactivate the option “Enable PayPal Card Processing”.
