Hello! We just installed WEPOS on our eshop and the problem is as follows.

We are using a barcode scanner with the barcodes of the products set as their SKUs.

When tthe wepos interface loads if you search for a product either with the scanner or by text, it doesn’t show up.

After ttrying to understand why that happens, I found that if the product is not loaded on the start screen, it cant be found.

What that means is that when you open the wepos you have to scroll down and wait till all products are loaded (we have around 1500 products listed). Once the products are loaded there, then everything works as it should. You can find the products both with search and with the scan options.

Why ddoes this happen? Isnt there a work around so wepos loads all products with all its information once you open it? Do we have to manually load the products every time we open it or if we refresh the page?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Hi @valantis93,

According to my information, the autoload feature, which automatically loads newly added products in WooCommerce is currently unavailable in wePOS.

However, I advise keeping an eye out for any upcoming wePOS upgrades or releases because they might include this capability in a later iteration of the plugin. You could also think about contacting the wePOS support team directly to share the feature enhancement request.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Thanks for your answer!

I think it would be really helpful because its annoying actually. Clients who sell lots of products through this plugin will lose lots of time into doing this process every time the page has to be refreshed.

    Hey @valantis93,

According to my understanding, loading all products at a time while adding any products in WooCommerce may cause some speed issues and server load-related issues. I believe wePOS designed the load in this way to avoid those issues.

Still, if you are interested to add such a feature then extensive customization is required. You can hire a professional developer in this regard. You can add this as a feature enhancement of wePOS plugin by navigating here: https://github.com/weDevsOfficial/wepos/issues/new

I hope this information will help.

    Thanks!
