The image in the slider section displays from the Featured Image section of the particular page . So to make the slide appear you must upload the image in the featured image section of the particular page .

Also you can manage other setting in the slider section by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Featured Slider .

As the theme itself has the slider feature, it is better to use the feature of the theme itself .

Thanks for your help, but as you can see in the images, i have done the things as described, but it doesnt show any slider, what could that be ?

As we can see from the screen shot you have posted, you have set the featured image for the post .

Also for your information, theme has the option to chose the featured page for the slider section so you need to add image in the Featured Image Section of the particular page not the post.

This can be done by going to Admin Panel > Pages . Goto particular page you want and upload the image and assign that page for the slider from customizer.

Hey again and thank you for your help,
hmm i have turned the language on the homepage, and so in the screenshots into english.

ok as you see in the screenshot, i already have setup the page and its featured image:

and i have choosen the page in the slider costumization

but on the homepage the slider isnt shown – do you know what mistake i have done ?

i am going to buy the pro version, but first i have to check it up with my friend and therefor i want to show him how his homepage would look like with your theme
