    New to WP and forum.

First theme I downloaded (“revive”, had a broken feature (“repeat header image”)… By default, it was checked, I assumed unchecking it would remove the image from the other pages. It didn’t. So, I’m having to study HTML to maybe try and fix it.

But this bug led me to this question: Is there a site that has wp themes that have been thoroughly tested so at least the obvious/simple features work?

And, if anyone knows a simple way to fix this, that would be gravy.

  • It’s not a bug, you just didn’t understand what the option is for. If you use a header image that is smaller than the width of the page, and you set Header Image Arrangement to Contain, then that option, if checked, will repeat (i.e., tile) the image across the width of the header instead of stretching it out.

If you want the header image to only show up on the home page, you can add your own CSS using the Custom CSS option (Appearance → Design & Layout → Custom CSS).

If you have other questions about the Revive theme, then please post them on the Revive support page. It’s also helpful if you include a link to your site.

I get it, tiling like with a wallpaper image.

I noticed the Revive Support Page after this post, which reminds me, I need to get in there to delete or update that particular post as well.

I think custom css is likely the best choice.

    Thanks,
